Our proud legacy in mill liner development dates back to South Africa’s Gold Rush during the 1930s. From the start, we supplied mill liners to Rod & Ball Mills, and over the years we have grown alongside the market’s requirements into AG and SAG mills.

In the 1970s, we began to export mill liner sets and today, we proudly supply to mine sites in the US, Russia, Europe, Australia, and Africa – directly and through OEM customers.

Targeted mill performance improvements

We target performance improvements across throughput, energy efficiency, liner life, downtime, or a combination of these. Our 80 years in the business and our vastly experienced team mean that we’re able to leverage a variety of tools for our on-site inspections and off-site application engineering, namely:

  • Trajectory software to predict the influence of mill liner profile design
  • Discrete Element Modelling software to simulate the bulk behaviour of particles inside the mill and their effect on liners
  • Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software to accurately predict the effect of slurry on trajectory and discharge through grates and pulp lifters
  • 3D scanning for wear monitoring of mill liners
